On July 18, 2026, Skyroot Aerospace will make history with the maiden orbital launch of its Vikram-1 rocket, titled 'Aagaman.'
Launching from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, this mission marks a monumental leap for India's private space industry.
The Vikram-1 is a seven-storey, multi-stage rocket built with an innovative all-carbon composite structure, making it significantly lighter than traditional rockets.
Powered by 3D-printed engines and solid-fuel boosters, it is designed to deliver payloads of up to 350 kg to Low Earth Orbit.
