Hit Manga Kagurabachi Gets Official Anime Adaptation for 2027
The hit Weekly Shonen Jump manga series Kagurabachi has officially been confirmed for an anime adaptation set to premiere in April 2027.
Written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono, the story follows Chihiro Rokuhira, who seeks vengeance against the sorcerers who murdered his father.
The production will be handled by the studio Cypic, with direction from Tetsuya Takeuchi and character designs by Keigo Sasaki.
Fans can look forward to hearing Taihi Kimura voice the protagonist, Chihiro.
Since its debut in 2023, the manga has become a massive success, winning the 10th Next Manga Award and approaching 4 million copies in circulation.
To build excitement, a global World Tour will kick off in summer 2026, offering early screenings of the first episode.
