In a historic meeting of anime giants, the iconic mecha franchise Mobile Suit Gundam and the beloved sci-fi comedy Sgt.
Frog have officially announced their first-ever collaboration.
This surprise partnership centers on a brand-new animated feature film, Sgt.
The film will showcase legendary mobile suits, including the RX-78-2 Gundam and Char’s Zaku II, interacting with the mischievous Keroro Platoon.
To celebrate, legendary artist Yoshikazu Yasuhiko has created special commemorative artwork, and fans can look forward to exclusive Gunpla model kits, such as the Keroro Robo Mk-II in Titans colors.
This crossover is part of a major revival for Sgt.
Frog, which includes this film—its first in 16 years—and an all-new television series premiering in the fall of 2026.
Whether you are a fan of classic mecha action or quirky humor, this monumental team-up is an event you will not want to miss.
