A landmark partnership between Getty Images and Penske Media Corporation (PMC) is transforming how we access entertainment history.
Originally launched in 2022, this collaboration established Getty Images as the exclusive global distributor for PMC’s vast library, which includes iconic publications like Variety, Rolling Stone, and Billboard.
In 2026, the deal expanded significantly to include the legendary Dick Clark Productions (DCP) archive.
This addition brings seven decades of entertainment milestones—from the Golden Globes to classic episodes of American Bandstand—onto the Getty Images platform.
Beyond hosting archives, the partnership is highly active.
Getty Images photographers capture PMC’s live events, while PMC uses Getty's network to enhance its own editorial storytelling.
This "living archive" continues to grow, with new content added regularly from ongoing productions.
By combining Getty’s global reach with PMC’s treasure trove of cultural assets, the partnership ensures that history’s most memorable performances and red-carpet moments remain accessible to audiences worldwide.
