Fall 2026 anime season begins on major platforms

The Fall 2026 anime season is set to be one of the most exciting periods for fans, with a massive lineup of new hits and returning favorites.

Beginning in late September, this season is truly "stacked" with high-quality content across all major streaming platforms, including Crunchyroll, Netflix, Disney+/Hulu, and Prime Video.

Leading the charge is the highly anticipated third season of The Apothecary Diaries, alongside other popular sequels like Black Clover Season 2 and Blue Box Season 2.

For those looking for something fresh, the season features exciting new adaptations like Firefly Wedding and Overgeared, as well as the long-awaited return of the classic series Magic Knight Rayearth.

Whether you are a fan of intense sports action, psychological thrills, or fantasy worlds, this season offers something for everyone.

Crunchyroll continues its role as a central hub for simulcasts, while Netflix is shifting some of its high-profile titles, such as Steel Ball Run, to a weekly release format.

As the industry continues to grow, anime remains the dominant force in entertainment, consistently capturing more viewer anticipation than live-action media.

Be sure to check your local streaming listings as dates can shift, and prepare for an incredible autumn of animation.
