Dorohedoro Season 3 Officially Announced

Great news for anime fans!

Following the gripping finale of Dorohedoro Season 2 on May 27, 2026, Toho Co., Ltd. officially announced that a third season is currently in active production.

This announcement marks a thrilling shift in the series' history, as fans who endured a six-year hiatus between the first and second seasons can now look forward to a much faster return to the "swamp of chaos."

Studio MAPPA will continue to helm the project, with director Yuichiro Hayashi returning to oversee the production.

The series, based on Q Hayashida’s iconic dark fantasy manga, is celebrated for its unique aesthetic and masterful blending of 2D and 3D animation.

While there is no official release date for Season 3 yet, the swift confirmation of its production highlights the studio's dedication to completing this cult classic’s journey.
