New Anime Film Paris ni Saku Étoile Hits Theaters Today
The highly anticipated original anime film Paris ni Saku Étoile, also known as L'étoile de Paris en fleur, officially hit Japanese theaters today, March 13, 2026.
Directed by the acclaimed Gorō Taniguchi, best known for Code Geass and One Piece Film Red, this beautiful production brings a story of ambition and friendship to the screen.
Set in the culturally vibrant Paris of the early 20th century, the narrative follows two Japanese women: Fujiko, an aspiring painter, and Chizuru, a dedicated ballet dancer.
The film features stunning character designs by Katsuya Kondō, famed for his work with Studio Ghibli, and a captivating score by composer Takayuki Hattori.
