Center for Native Futures Hosts New Indigenous Art Exhibition in Chicago
Chicago is home to a unique cultural destination, the Center for Native Futures (CfNF), which is currently hosting a thought-provoking new exhibition.
Located in the historic Marquette Building, this all-Native, artist-led organization is challenging outdated perceptions by providing a platform for Indigenous voices.
Running from March 28 through July 25, 2026, the exhibition features works by Hattie Lee Mendoza, Melissa Melero-Moose, and Sean Chandler.
This exhibition embodies the concept of "Indigenous Futurism," illustrating that Native culture is vibrant, living, and evolving.
Founded in 2020, the CfNF works to amplify the voices of the Great Lakes region's Native peoples, reclaiming the narrative on what is historically Indigenous land.
The center, located at 56 W.
Adams St., is free to the public and serves as a vital community hub for art and dialogue.
