The Moree Hospital Redevelopment in New South Wales has achieved a major construction milestone as of June 2026.
The new two-storey acute services building has reached its highest point, with the roof now complete, marking a significant step toward delivering world-class healthcare to the region.
This $105 million project is designed to provide state-of-the-art facilities, including a new emergency department, operating theatres, and a birthing unit.
Beyond the main building, the site now features a landscaped courtyard, replacing older structures to improve campus accessibility.
The technical scale of the construction is immense, requiring over 2,000 cubic metres of concrete and 3,000 tonnes of fill.
Importantly, the hospital has maintained full operational continuity throughout the build.
The project acts as a vital economic driver, supporting 200 direct jobs locally.
