Pop superstar Ariana Grande has announced that she will be taking a break from public life after her Eternal Sunshine Tour concludes on September 1, 2026.
Her representatives explained that the decision comes after a period of intense public scrutiny regarding her health and personal life.
Grande expressed a desire to prioritize her well-being, stating that this pause is a necessary step to maintain her mental and physical health.
As part of this change, the singer has officially withdrawn from her highly anticipated West End debut as Dot in the musical Sunday in the Park with George.
Originally slated for a 2027 opening at the Barbican Theatre in London, the project was expected to feature her Wicked co-star, Jonathan Bailey.
While Empire Street Productions noted that the news caused significant scheduling adjustments, they confirmed that the show will move forward with a new lead to be announced later.
This announcement marks a significant turning point for the artist as she moves toward a more private chapter of her career.
