On September 9, 2026, Apple made headlines at its 'Surprise and Shine' event at Apple Park.
Led by new CEO John Ternus, the company unveiled its highly anticipated first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo.
This premium device, priced starting at $1,999, features a 'passport-style' design with a 7.6-inch inner display and utilizes a high-performance A20 Pro chip.
It is crafted from polished grade 5 titanium and aims to serve as an intelligent personal hub for users.
Alongside the foldable, Apple introduced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
Notably, Apple has opted for a staggered release, holding back the standard iPhone 18 and other variants until early 2027.
The event also highlighted updates to the wearable and audio ecosystem, including the Apple Watch Series 12 and the redesigned AirPods 5.
With new AI-powered health features and enhanced connectivity, Apple continues to push the boundaries of consumer technology.
Pre-orders for the Pro series start September 12, while the innovative iPhone Duo follows in mid-October.
