Hiro Mashima is returning to the drafting board to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Fairy Tail.

Debuting on August 5, 2026, in Weekly Shonen Magazine, this new short-term manga serialization marks a special milestone.

Unlike the ongoing sequel, 100 Years Quest, which features art by Atsuo Ueda, this upcoming project will be both written and illustrated by Mashima himself—a treat fans haven't seen since the original series concluded in 2017.
