SC Capital Partners buys Fusion Hotel Group to expand in Southeast Asia
In March 2026, the Singapore-based real estate firm SC Capital Partners marked a major milestone by acquiring the Fusion Hotel Group.
This strategic move, led by founder Suchad Chiaranussati, aims to build a premier pan-Asian hospitality management platform.
By integrating Vietnam-based Fusion with Japan’s Hotel Management Japan and Indonesia’s Topotels Hotels & Resorts, the firm now oversees a massive portfolio of approximately 16,000 keys across four Asian countries.
Fusion Hotel Group, founded in 2008, brings 18 properties and a focus on wellness-oriented design to this growing ecosystem.
CEO Christopher Hur will continue to lead Fusion while also taking on an investment role at SC Capital Partners.
Chiaranussati emphasized that Vietnam is a high-growth market, making a strong local platform essential.
With 2,000 additional keys in the pipeline and a new resort project launching in the Maldives in 2028, this acquisition positions the group for significant international expansion.
Through shared technology and marketing expertise, the newly combined platform is set to enhance its operational efficiency and deliver superior service across its diverse hospitality properties.
