Three new stars join the cast of Bridgerton Season 5
The Bridgerton family is returning to our screens as production for Season 5 officially kicked off in London this past March.
Netflix has announced three exciting new cast members who will join the Regency-era drama.
Tega Alexander, known for his work in The Sandman, will play Christopher Anderson, a charismatic character with a surprising streak of self-doubt.
Additionally, Jacqueline Boatswain joins as Helen Stirling, the lively mother of Michaela Stirling, while Gemma Knight Jones will portray Lady Elizabeth Ashworth, a wise confidante navigating London society.
This upcoming season is particularly special as it centers on the blossoming romance between Francesca Bridgerton and Michaela Stirling, marking the show's first prominent queer love story.
With Jess Brownell returning as showrunner, the series continues its ambitious plan to adapt the tales of all eight Bridgerton siblings.
Following the early renewal of both Season 5 and Season 6, fans can look forward to more high-society intrigue, though they will need a little patience, as the season is expected to debut on Netflix in 2027 or early 2028.
