JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run anime adaptation premieres

The long-awaited anime adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run has finally arrived.

After years of anticipation since the end of Stone Ocean, the seventh part of the series premiered exclusively on Netflix on March 19, 2026.

Produced by David Production, the story takes viewers to 1890s America, where Johnny Joestar, a former jockey, and Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious executioner, compete in a grueling 6,000 km cross-country horse race.

With the return of key staff like music composer Yugo Kanno and writer Yasuko Kobayashi, the series is poised to be a landmark addition to the JoJo saga.
