Samsung Receives Carbon Reduction Certifications for New TV and Soundbar Models
Samsung Electronics has taken a significant step toward sustainability by earning carbon certifications from TÜV Rheinland for 34 of its 2026 TV and soundbar models.
The certifications are divided into two categories: Product Carbon Reduction, which highlights models that lower emissions compared to predecessors, and Product Carbon Footprint, which provides a transparent look at total lifecycle emissions.
Notably, the 2026 Q990H soundbar has achieved both, setting a high standard for energy efficiency.
By utilizing rigorous standards like ISO 14067, independent auditors ensure that these claims are verifiable rather than just marketing hype.
Samsung continues to balance cutting-edge display technology, such as OLED and MiniLED, with a focus on decreasing power consumption and material weight.
