現在形：存在を表す (There is/are)

部屋や場所にあるものを説明するための There is と There are の使い方を学びましょう。

特定の場所に何かが存在することを表すとき、There is や There are を使います。単数名詞には There is を、複数名詞には There are を使います。

There is a book on the desk.

机の上に本が1冊あります。

複数の物の場合は：

There are cups on the table.

テーブルの上にカップがいくつかあります。
